BIO

    I began teaching in 1980, after getting a BA in Mathematics from the University of Oregon.  From 1980- 1989 I taught math/computers and coached volleyball in the Hillsboro (OR) School District. After earning a Master's degree from DUCK U,  getting married and having 2 children,  I  moved back to Colorado (Boulder High grad. of 1975) and have been a Norseman ever since. 

    In my 27 years in education I have had the opportunity to teach every level of mathematics in grades 7 through12, have written curricula, and have served on various school committees.  I love teaching at Northglenn because our community is so rich in its diversity. 

    I have been the varsity volleyball coach at Northglenn High for 7 of the past 8 years, where our teams have a 110-71 record.  We won the Front Range Conference in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2004 and  won Districts in 1999,2000 and 2003.
