Advanced Placement Courses
Advanced Placement (AP) courses at Northglenn High School offer motivated students the opportunity to experience college level coursework while still in high school. AP classes are designed to challenge students academically, develop critical thinking skills, and prepare them for post-secondary success. We offer a range of AP courses across multiple subject areas including: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and World Language. Each course follows a rigorous curriculum and culminates in a standardized AP exam in May.
AP classes are recommended for students who are ready to take on more challenging coursework and are committed to consistent effort and engagement. Counselors and teachers are available to help students select AP course that match their interest, goals, and academic readiness.
