World Languages
The World Language department hosts a handful of teaching styles, backgrounds, and cultures. These educators have dedicated their lives to the importance of bilingual education for a bilingual world. Students exiting both the French and Spanish programs are able to earn special designations that will increase their employability, as well as their appreciation for others around them. We hope to help student find their love of diverse languages and cultures.

Cultural Celebrations
- Take a field trip to Le Central French restaurant.
- Enjoy authentic experiences with cultural “Food Days”!
- Learn about cultural celebrations, such as the Day of the Dead, Posadas, Cinco de Mayo, Mardi Gras, Bastille Day.

College Requirements
- CU Boulder, among other four year colleges, requires three years of the same high school world language.
- CSU in Fort Collins requires two years.
- Most East Coast universities require four years.
- Enhances your chances for entrance into Ivy League school.
Higher Test Scores
- Studies have shown that studying a world language improves test scores in all areas.
- When learning a second language, it helps you understand your own language and enhances comprehension of grammar concepts.
