Hey Norsemen! We will be having our first ever Winter Wonderland Dance on January 31 from 7-9 pm. There will be hot chocolate and popcorn for sale. Tickets will be sold during both lunches this week and next week for $5 and $8 at the door so get your tickets soon. We will also be having a spirit week so look out for posters! Come have a magical night and help fundraise for next year’s Prom!

Do you want some new Norse gear to spice up your wardrobe? Well, we have some exciting news for you!! Stuco is now selling vintage Norse crewnecks for only $20 each. You can get yours at Odin’s Outpost today.  Go ahead and talk to Ms. Swanson in the counseling office, if you are interested in purchasing.

Attention Seniors, it’s getting closer and closer to graduation. There is something that you need to take care of. The list of senior names is posted outside student relations. You must take a look at it and verify that your name is correct for your diploma. If there is something wrong, please bring your birth certificate to Mrs. Holton in the counseling office to make the change. If the diploma gets printed wrong, you will be charged to change it. The deadline is Friday, January 31, 2020.

Need help with homework or catching up?  Tutoring available Monday 3:10-4:10 in room 702 and Wednesday 12:30-1:30 in room 702.  

Norse who are interested in joining the boys and girls track teams for the spring season are encouraged to come participate in after-school workouts Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:00 PM. If you have any questions about these workouts or track & field for the spring season, please see Coach Otterson in room 245.

The UT Step Team and The Da Truth Diversity Club will be having a one in a lifetime Poetry Show with a twist of Poetry Slam that you don’t want to miss.    Karen Cervantes will be slamming Peace to me. Mariana Zapata will be asking you to Hold your Heart. There is a reason but you have to come out to know the reason she is asking you to hold your heart.  Anahi Terrazas will be Changing the Past. Gabriella Mendoza will explain how great it is, Growing up with grandma. I’m sure a lot of us can relate to that. Jacky Luna will be slamming I Won’t. The slam is tomorrow night at 6:00 in the Courtyard commons.  Student tickets are only $3.00 and adults $5.00. Tickets are on sale today in front of the counseling office. Keep listening every day for other slammers as they slam poetry in a way you will never forget.

Seniors, If you need help filling out the FAFSA for the fall of 2020, please attend our district FAFSA Fest on Saturday, February 1st from 10:00-2:00 at the Front Range Community College Campus in Westminster. No RSVP required, and lunch will be provided. Please see your counselor for more information.  

The Seal of Biliteracy Application Deadline is January 24 2020. Please see Mr. Itskovsky for further details.

Go Rams! Interested in touring the Colorado State University Campus in Fort Collins?  Grab a permission slip from the counseling office and turn it in prior to Feb. 17th. We only have 40 spaces available, so get your slip turned in quickly.  This trip will be for 10th-12th grade students.
