Northglenn PLTW Does It Again
We are proud to announce that for the third year in a row, Northglenn HS has been recognized as a 2024–25 Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished High School—a national honor awarded to only a select group of high schools across the United States.
This prestigious distinction is reserved for schools that demonstrate exceptional commitment to student access, engagement, and achievement in PLTW programs. Project Lead The Way is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that provides transformative learning experiences in the fields of engineering, biomedical science, and computer science, empowering students to develop the in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive in college and careers.
To be eligible for this recognition, schools must meet rigorous criteria including:
-
Offering multiple PLTW pathways;
-
Ensuring broad and inclusive student participation;
-
Demonstrating high levels of student retention and success in PLTW coursework;
-
Showing commitment to equity and access, especially among underrepresented populations in STEM.
Being named a PLTW Distinguished High School places Northglenn among an elite group of institutions across the country that are leading the way in preparing students for the real world through hands-on, project-based learning in science, technology, engineering, and math.
