Counseling

The Northglenn High School Counseling Department is here to support all of our high school students and their families.

Northglenn has eight professionally licensed school counselors who promote student achievement and success by supporting each student's ​social and emotional needs, as well as working with each student on their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP).  School counselors engage students as unique individuals with diverse backgrounds, interests, strengths and needs. Students who are emotionally and physically healthy overall do better in school, miss fewer classes, are less likely to engage in risky or antisocial behavior, concentrate better, and achieve higher test scores.
