Mr Pidek has taught many years at Northglenn High School. Classes he has taught include General, Honors, and Applied Biology, plus Honors and Applied Geophysical Science, AP Environmental Science, CP Physics, and classes in the STEM Biomedical pathway. He enjoys all sorts of science and looks forward to the science "discoveries" that are made in his classroom each year. He became interested in teaching while doing his undergraduate studies at Red Rocks Community College where he worked several years as a Teaching Assistant in the biology laboratories there. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Masters of the Arts degree in Science Education and Curriculum from the same institution. When he's not teaching, he's busy following my other passions: working out at the Tae Kwon Do school he attends and exploring the back country of the western states (specifically Colorado and its high peaks and Utah's multicolored canyons and mesas) with his family. Whether on foot, on a bicycle, or in a Jeep, he and his family love to be outdoors in this beautiful country in which we live.
