Mrs. Murillo is a Northglenn High School graduate and is elated to be returning as a teacher. This will be her eighth year teaching, and her first year teaching in Adams 12. Mrs. Murillo received her Bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Northern Colorado and she loves school so much, she is still a student herself; she is finishing her master's degree in literacy education from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is passionate about getting students excited about reading, writing, acting, creating, and finding their own passions.
Outside of teaching English, Mrs. Murillo enjoys singing, playing the piano, studying different languages, video gaming, and going to Disneyland.
