As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Jake helps students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. He also partner with families, school staff, and community resources to build and maintain safe, healthy, and supportive learning spaces that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.
Jake provides direct and indirect support and interventions to students, consults and collaborates with teachers, families, and other mental health professionals, work with school administrators to improve school-wide practices, and collaborate with community-based mental health providers and resources to provide continuity services.
He has thorough training in school-wide practices to promote learning, assessment and evaluation, progress monitoring, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions, consultation and collaboration, instructional support, family-school-community partnering, risk and resiliency factors, crisis preparedness, response, and recovery, special education, and research and program development.
In short, he works to help all students find happiness, succeed academically, and build meaningful friendships. He looks forward to this school year and supporting Norse students!
