Professional Bio
As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Jake supports students in a variety ways. He partners with families, school staff, and community resources to build and maintain safe, healthy, and supportive learning spaces that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.
He provides direct and indirect support to students, consults with school administrators to improve school-wide practices, and collaborates with community-based resources to provide continuity of services.
Additionally, Jake has thorough training in the following:
- assessment, evaluation, and progress monitoring
- social-emotional, behavioral, and academic interventions
- risk and resiliency factors
- crisis preparedness, response, and recovery
- special education
- research and program development.
In short, he works to help all students find happiness, succeed academically, and build meaningful friendships. He is passionate about helping Norse students thrive!
