
Mrs. Briner attended the University of Arkansas (Go Razorbacks!) on an athletic scholarship and earned Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Journalism. She began teaching 6th grade Language Arts and Social Studies in 2002 in Broward County, Florida, which is also the school district where she grew up. While teaching, Mrs. Briner participated in a fellowship program at Florida State University, and in 2009 she graduated with a Master of Library and Information Studies degree. Since graduating from FSU, Mrs. Briner has worked as a librarian at a vocational college in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a reference librarian at the Broward County Library. She has been the teacher librarian at Northglenn High School since 2013.
Mrs. Briner loves reading young adult literature. Stop by the library to tell her about your favorite books or to get a recommendation.
